How PawProper articles are made

PawProper publishes practical pet-care guides for dog and cat owners. Every article is written to answer one question well: what does a pet owner need to know, and what should they do about it?

How we choose topics

We cover everyday pet care: grooming, health and safety, feeding and nutrition, behaviour, and breed-specific needs. Topics are chosen because pet owners actually ask about them — not to chase trends.

How articles are written

Articles are written in plain, friendly language and structured so you can skim or read in depth. Where an article mentions a tool, technique, or warning sign, we aim to show it clearly and explain when to handle something at home and when to see a professional.

Accuracy and updates

Pet-care guidance changes over time, so articles are reviewed and updated when advice changes or when readers point out something that needs a second look. If you spot an error, please tell us through the Contact page — corrections are made promptly.

What we are not

PawProper articles are general information only, not veterinary advice. Our writers are experienced pet carers, not veterinarians, and we do not claim otherwise. If your pet is unwell, see a veterinarian promptly — no article can replace an examination of your individual pet.

Products and affiliate links

Some articles recommend grooming tools and other products. When we link to a retailer and may earn a commission, the article says so up front — see our Affiliate Disclosure. Recommendations are chosen because they fit the article, not because they pay the most.
